You got that right. We may still have to vote for Democrats and then push them in the right direction. Both Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich got it right, but they aren't getting anywhere. Hillary is an heir apparent for Bush policies, and even the Neocons don't like McCain. Obama is the only hope...and it is only a hope. If we are out there behind him, it could work.

I was pulling for Kucinich all the way until he dropped out, but I only agreed with RP on about a quarter of the issues.

I really can't see how Obama is as progressive as people think he is. For me it's not enough just to be a black president, I can't figure out what he really stands for, his message is really vague.

using your mind is something we have to get back to. people shouldn't give in to "sheep" mentality/behavior.

Addendum : Barack Obama is about giving government back to the people. having the voice of the common man actually be heard. he is also about recognizing though we have differences we are more alike than different. we all want the American Dream of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. he is for Unity and closing the gap on our political differences so that America can become closer to the Ideal. unifying us to accomplish something greater. we are after all, The united States of America.

Who you callin' sheep?

He's playing this "unity" game to try and appeal to as many people as possible because--get this--he wants to be president.

He's not a common man and isn't necessarily speaking for them. Tell me, what the hell kind of good is Obama really going to do? His positions are soooo vague, how can you put trust in that?

I just heard your earlier comments about White people and Black people and I can tell that you are getting better at creating your messages. I just want to say that I love to see someone waking up to the truth of things. Good for you!
